Absolute zero is theoretically the lowest possible temperature, the point at which all molecular motion would cease.

Kelvin Scale:
Absolute zero, –273.15° on the Celsius (Centigrade) scale, is 0 Kelvin. Thus, Kelvin is equivalent to Celsius plus 273.15. The freezing point of water, 0°C and 32°F, is 273.15K. The conversion formula is K = C° + 273.15.
